Flashing Theft Light
I have a 99 Explorer XLT 4.0L. I have an intermittent no start, will crank but not start, and an associated flashing theft light. Dealer has changed PATS transeiver and module. No help. When theft light goes out car starts and runs fine. I might have to wait 30 minutes or a few seconds for light to go out. The dealer said they have never seen this problem. Any ideas what problem might be. I'm down to replacing the computer at this point.
