Clunk from Left Front end

Clunk from Left Front end
If I back up then Put it in drive to go forward something in the front end clunks is this a common problem what could it be?

check shock bushings and sway bar end links.

mine does the same thing but i think its comming from the hub area

umm, just to verify, these are 2wd or in 2wd, right? If in 2x, your hub shouldn't be doing anything...

i own 3 fords and they all have that weird sound in the driver side front tire. not really a clunk, but more of a wobble.

I have a similar clunk. It's the upper ball joint on mine.

Could be sway bar bushings, end link bushing or hub bearings, also BJ's

Jack up the left front, see if there's any play in the ball joints. Also check the bushings in the sway bar end links.
