Total Timing A 302!
Hi, could you guys tell me what the total timing should be, i have a mexican block 302 with comp cams xe268h, world prod windsor snr heads, mallory duel points, sealed power domed pistons, 600 vac secs holley, etc, i have marked the pulley, what next! is it checked with the vacuum disconected! what hp do you think i should have! also what plug gaps! all help appreciated regards Alan.

most guys run 36-38 degrees total timing. I check it with the vacuum plugged in to get the total timing. Your plug gap should be detremined by your ignition system. Since you list a dual points set-up I'd say 35-38.
