Has anyone had issues with all of their keys not starting the vehicle with the PATS? I have just dropped my back off at Ford for the 3rd time. They wore everything clean and reprogram all of my keys to the truck. We tested the keys at the dealership, all was fine. I drive home six miles, turn off the truck and attempt to restart it with the same key in the ignition that I drove home with and find that the truck will not start. Nothing at all except the gauges and lights come on. Windows work, radio does not! I finally disconnected the positive terminal for 8 mins and it reset the computer so that I could start it and drive it back to the dealership. Any Ideas? I am having them replace my Pats control module tomorrow!
Sorry, it is a 2000 year model 4.6L XLT 2wd Expedition.

No I do not have an a/m alarm. I do have a Ford System4 alarm I plan to install, but for now no alarm. I was thinking the same and tried to get the dealer to swap that today but they assured me that it was fixed!
now i maybe wrong here but if you can disconect the battery and it will start then i would not think the pats control mod is bad. If that was bad you would not be able to start it at all. like i said i might be wrong.
Got it back from Ford and it turned out to be the transponder brain box for the PATS. This was a $400 repair. Oh well what can you do. I'm heading down to Pensacola Fl and don't want to stranded there!
