So i come home from the Army on leave for some quality R&R @ my dad's place. I should probably mention it's a town so small we aren't even on a map in the middle of VA.
He had to go off to PA for a couple days and left me his F250 to get around in.
SOMEHOW the keys disappeared this morning... of course I need to go to Wal Mart today.....
Does anyone have anyidea how to start up a 1997 F250 in a way that won't destroy it (like not hotwiring it)?
HELP!
If you have a ford dealership nearby, then they can cut you a key from the VIN#. You will probably have to bring proof of ownership...should probably call first and see what exactly they need
yah.... thanks for the help, i was thinking about the replacement key and all, but without proof of ownership and a ride to the dealership... I guess I'll wait a couple days till he gets back... Man I'm gonna look like grizzly Adams by then hehehe
Bronco Chick is right, my 97 C.C. has 2 keys, one for doors, one for ignition. Boosting it will likely cause Dad issues when you're gone. Walking is an option.
