I thought the time to finish was excessive and price was a bit high $2986 but I didn't break a sweat with all this work and didn't even get dirty.
I do have some stuff for sale if anyone is interested, buyer will pay shipping you let me know how much you want to pay I won't be too picky.
1. 352 2V intake
2. cam thrust plate
3. 352 connecting rods (they've been cleaned, not sure what else)
4. 2 barrel carb (needs to be gone through, I rebuilt it but it's been setting)
5. 352 crankshaft (appears in good shape, would probably need to be resurfaced)
I can send pictures of the parts if you're interested.
Also, what carb and headers would you suggest? I'm looking at Blackjack headers with 5/16 inch flange and either Edlebrock or Holley Carb.

i like holley 750 carbs... vacuum secondary's for 4x4's and double pumpers on the street- the vacuum secondary tend to keep your motor from being drowned in fuel when you're hood deep in mud don't bother with any header that has a 5/16th flange, there's plenty of headers with 3/8" flanges that'll never leak.. hedman makes a decent set for like 230-250 outta summit..
the flage thickness only matters if you like exhaust leaks or not... the thinnner the flange, the more susceptable to heat and subsequent warpage it will be... thicker is always better for this simple reason. i've had a few sets of 5/16th flange headers and they don't seem to last very long. they last better in a low vibration environment (read street driven ) than in a abusive high vibration environment. JME
I have coated Hooker competition headers on my truck right now and I like them alot and they dont leak. They have a 5/16 flange. That carb you are looking at is the same one I have and I have never had a problem with it.

How long or how many miles have they been on? Mine is going to end up slammed and driven on street only, so I'm hoping that the 5/16 will do it.
I have had my headers on for about one year and about 7000 miles and I have done quite a bit of off roading and street driving so they have seen a high vibration environment and they still are doing great So I wouldnt worry about it, but thats just me.

I would love to know how you are going to slam your ford. It is merely impossible.
Get an oxy-acetylene torch. Anything's possible
As to the 750 CFM, what cam are you using? I couldn't find it in the list.
If it's a radical cam, and this is a 390, lots of people here have said 750 is too big.
Disclaimer: I ran a 750 for 15 years on my 390. I did have to re-tune it a LOT for it to work right. The vacuum secondaries would almost not even bother to open most of the time.
If you're not looking for 6000RPMs like I did, I'd go with a smaller carb.
Mostly, because it will increase the primary's flow at idle, which will help you idle right and keep the idle circuits flowing properly.
Oh, and as to the selling of parts: Put up a classified ad. It costs nothing, is available to all, and you can always just say "look at the classifieds for the extra parts I have" or something of that nature. The management frowns on direct "here's a bunch of stuff I want to sell" in posts. Oh darn, there goes that promise not to "ride herd" on you guys...

I haven't got too far into this aspect, but I have heard about a place here in Phoenix that does lowered I-Beams. I think the rear would be quite simple, but I might be wrong.
Ouch... don't like the choppy ride thing... going for the lowered I-Beam.

It has a Crane Cams 268H grind cam in it. I already bought the 750 so we'll see what happens. With the price of gas, I don't plan on using the secondaries very often, only when some punk thinks he's cool.

Yeah, I did that but I'll repost when I have a complete list of stuff that's left over.
I should have said "if it's NOT a radical cam, 750 is too big"...
So is the 268H 'radical?' I don't understand all the cam stuff. I just told the builder that I wanted it a little more powerful than stock and with a slight lope to it.
