Comfort Zone

This post was inspired by bf250 from the "shop at sears" thread
"lots of people get in their comfort zone and don't want to do more"

I agree with that statement and I wanted to add this:

What do we all want out of life?
Why do we work?
Why do we make friends with certain people and not others?
Why do we start families with our wives or husbands?

Because it all forms our own individual definitions of the "Comfort Zone"

You can be in your Comfort Zone no matter who you are. You can!!!

Spend less, save more, make more friends(or contacts), watch less TV(its called PROGRAMMING for a reason), take a new route to work once in a while, go outside for a walk, stop and smell the roses, try new things and do something to de-stress that is relaxing.

Take some time for you and go decide what you want your Comfort Zone to be and who you want to enjoy it with.

Happy is a state of mind

well, i thik the point i was trying to make through was, yes, being in a comfort zone is a good thing and nothing wrong with it at all, if your happy then why should anyone else care...BUT....i have seen so many poeple that are in this zone and though they are happy, the reason they are content is because they are afraid to try something new.

of course the bulk of my experience with this comes from the military, i rn into a few people that were afraid of getting out into the "real" world as they called it. they were perfectly happy and content with what they have and were doing, but they rather be doing something else, they were in thier comfort zone but being afraid to try new things and to do what they truly wanted.

but yes, good post. i am just all for people to fill their full potential in life, some people i have met have been so darn afraid of resposibilty they are on purpose just doing a lack luster performance....it drives me crazy, thats just one example of many.

but anyways, being in a comfort zone is not a bad thing at all, just as long the person realizes why he is there.

I also think this is why business people and celebrities and any number of hardworking people work so hard: to provide a Comfort Zone for their loved ones and themselves.

Happy is a state of mind
