Anyone know what the frequency range is for sub in a 2000 Navigator? I'm sure its the same as the Expeditions. I installed a new sub/amp in my wife's Navi and now there are holes in the audio. I've lost upper bass/lower mids and it sounds so bad now. I've got a Directed Audio 250D sub amp and Elemental Designs 8" sub.
Thanks,
Sam

Sam,
My book is showing the '01 Navs Premium systems as being totally Alpine.. Im also not sure if the system was the same in '00 (which it prolly was). It looks to be a 7pc system....
If you still have the old sub... with some legible p/ns of some sort I may be able to cross-reference.
That's what it looks like on the sub. Hope you can help me. I just turned on Paradise City by GnR and there is NO bass guitar. Terrible, terrible, terrible...

The OEM speaker database I can sift through is mostly foreign vehicles with some select U.S. Cars... There is a small chance that this MY Lin. Nav. will be in there.. There is also a chance I can get Alpine's P/N from there, then have Alpine give up the specs.
So far no luck!
My "database" seemed to only have some Continentals. Then that was it for Ford.
I also e-mailed my Alpine Dist./ Rep.. They said that Alpine would not keep any "actual" data sheets on such an animal, and that the Lincoln dealer(s) should be able to cough up that info quicker than if he hunted for it. It seems purely proprietary and as the rep. put it... "Its a Ford Product" with Alpine's name stamped on the made by label".
Sometimes this stuff really doesn't make sense to me!
