Master Cylinder question
Weird question??? On my '65 F100 master cylinder cap there is a screw around 1/2 inch long that is screwed into the threaded side of the cap. Is this here for a reason? I bought a new master cylinder today but it did not come with a new cap. Help me out, is the screw there for a reason or did somebody put it in there just to "screw" with me?

I'm not aware of the screw that you refer to. You should be ok using the new with no problems.
