Hi guys this is my first post. I've been reading the forum for a few days. What a great forum!
I have a 2000 F-250 4x4 Super Cab V10 that I'm getting ready to sell and get a New Reg Cab F-250 4x4 V8.
I've read here about the X Program, Can anyone tell me how about this?
Thanks in advance...
Its called X plan pricing and companies get it straight from the ford Dealership. Its a set price so there is no negotiations involved. You will also need a pin number to use it.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 12-Sep-02 AT 03:33 PM (EST)]I work for Dell Computer Corp., and we get X-plan pricing. I bought a 2001 Explorer Sport 4x4 under the X-plan. Sticker price on the vehicle was over $29,000. X-plan price was right at $25,000. Any time I can save $4,000 by doing nothing at all, I am all for it! I heard that the X-plan price is a certain percentage above the A-plan price which is available to Ford employees and is actually written on the invoice.
I just bought an f250 v10 extended cab 4x4 using xplan. Saved 4000 without haggling. I have gone to dealers to purchase a truck and found on one occasion a truck was priced 1500 below xplan! Just to move it. They still make money, but not as much, and may not be willing to give you adders like bedliners and other extras. Good luck
Originally posted by huntercgr Is the X plan a certain % under/over dealer invoice? I too would like more info.
Its 4% over A plan plus $150. X plan is roughly just under invoice. For my 04 Excursion it ended up being $269 under invoice. It broke down like this, MSRP = $53080, Invoice = $46972, X plan = 46703, A plan = 44762. Wish I had a relative that worked for Ford, that A plan would have been nice.
For a SuperDuty Pickup, does anyone know if 2003 X-Plan pricing would be better then 2004 X-Plan pricing because of additional X-Plan rebates? or would the only difference be in the factory rebate.
webmaster ............ I have a friend who works for a company that offers x-plan pricing to their employees ........ She would be more than willing to hook me up but says that it is only available to employees , spouses , or retirees .... but if there is another way to share this incentive she would be more than happy to help me out ............ IF she can get me on the x-plan how would she go about doing it ???????????? you can e-mail me at echo9bravo@yahoo.com ........... thanks marty
I used X plan as well. X plan pricing is a pre-established amount set by Ford. If your company qualifies you, you can get your partner code and enter it at www.fordpartners.com. A Ford partner can only get an X plan for themself or spouse. If you know someone that works for Ford they can offer X plan to Friends and Family I believe up to 4 a year.
Most dealership websites have links that give info on Alll plans(A,X, etc.)
I just purchased an 03 F150 through X-plain. My Aunt told me that she can get 4 pins per year for FAMILY/FRIENDS. Spouses, Brothers, Sister are eligible for an different plan called Z-plain. I save $4,000 plus $3000 Ford incentive, plus 1500 on my 01 F150 as trade in. If you do have a trade, get you trade in first then tell them about X-plain eliglble.
My company just got the X plan, I was able to order a F 250 Super Duty with it. The people at Park Ford in Lousville Oh knew exactly how to do it, after all said and done I was right around invoice. VERY cool program, no hassel
