I just used the x-plan to purchase a f250 lariat crew cab sb 4x4 with the new diesel engine and automatic transmission. With the factory rebate of $2000 I paid about $37000 for a vehicle with msrp of about $45000, very nice! no hassle!
Webmaster, I read your ask re: x-plan, we sure could use some help as we need to purchase an Excursion, how could we get on board to utilze this discount. thanx Greg
Originally posted by canadianfordman I have found that most of the time the X plan is less then the cost of the vehicle.
I am in Whitehorse, YT and am very interested in finding out more on this X-Plan. Could you enlighten me, can I access this, etc? The prices of trucks up here are generally not negotiated with any great enthusiasum so if there is another way of getting a deal, I am interested.
Who Is Eligible for X-Plan? Active employees (hourly and salaried), retirees and their spouses at U.S. and Canadian locations of: Selected Ford Motor Company Suppliers Selected Ford Motor Company Fleet Customers Selected Companies/Organizations Strategically Related to Ford Motor Company
Participants will be required to show proof of employment by an organization eligible for Partner Recognition benefits; at the time they take delivery of their vehicle. Ask your employer or spouse’s employer if you/they qualify for the xplan.
Make sure you check out the FTE Purchase Program. It's always at least $200 below invoice, or $200 below A/X/Z-Plan if you qualify. If Ford continues some of their dealer cash incentives, it could be up to $950 BELOW invoice! Just click on the Van Bortel Ford sponsor logo atthe top of each page- it will give you all the details.

I bought 2 F-150's through my brother-in-law who was an engineer at Ford. While he was working I received the A plan. Now that he's retired it's under the x plan. Great deal. I thought both were 2% below dealer cost. I'll have to check a little closer when I buy my next one. It'll be a 250 SD.
Just stopped at the Ford dealership to look at the F250s. Wow, nice. They told me when an employee retires you get the Z plan and not the X, my mistake.
