PCM reset
Is there any way to reset the PCM to factory setting's without the programmer. The guy I bought my truck from said it had an edge ship in it, but when i got on edge's site to see where these chips are installed there was none installed on the truck. So I called the guy and he then told me it was programmed, but he could not get the programmer for me since it was at his ex-wife's house. I've driven these trucks stock, so I know this one is programmed. Can I reset it myself without the programmer or do I have to go to a shop. Any help would be great.

As far as I know, the only way to do it without the programmer would be to take it to the dealer to have them reflash it.
You might try contacting the ex-wife on your own. She may be willing to give away something of his. Sometimes them Ex's are spiteful like that.

Ya I would bring it to the dealer and have it reflashed. Then get yourself a custom chip for one of the many 7.3 experts around here. And let the PMS (Power Stroke Mod syndrome) comense haha.
