Tranny Swap E4OD to AODE

Hi

I have a 92 f-250 2w/d with a 5.0L and a E4OD. Well a week ago the tranny started acting up and it would cut out between the 1-2 shift at full throttle. When i took my foot off the gas it would drop into 2nd and make a nice "clunk" noise, and it has also aquired a wine when in 3rd gear. Now a week later it wont shift at all into 2nd and goes straight from 1st to 3rd then 4th.

Now my question is I would like to swap the E4OD with a AODE. Now would i just be able to swap the tranny's and plug it into the original wiring, or would I have to change the wiring if so would the AODE wiring plug into the trucks ECU? Would I have to change the shifter cable? Now there are extra holes in the frame rails that line up with the tranny crossmember same bolt holes and configuration. Would the holes there be for a crossmember for an AODE?
