On the old 51 F3 I bought for parts there is a outside vent from under the front passenger fender to the heater box to bring in fresh outside air. Is this a common thing on the larger trucks, was it an option. Just curious.
MY 48 F-3 has a rectangular "knock out" panel in the cowl under the passenger side fender for the fresh air heater but apparently it was never equipped with one since that panel is still intact. Heaters were definitely an option in these old trucks...
This truck has a heater and an extra vent that draws air in from under the front fender, I was wondering if this was a common option as my F1 has no vent but does have a heater.
