Anyone with the V-10 running a Gibson exhaust system on their truck? I had one on an F-150 5.0 that I used to have and it was a nice system. Sounded good too. I know it's a chambered design muffler and has all mandrel bent piping. I heard a sound clip on the Gibson website and it sounded really good for a V-10. Deeper than I thought it would. It's also made in stainless {304 for muffler and 409 for pipes}.

Gibsons have a great tone with many v-10s. Check out our selection on our Gibson brand page on the motorhaven site......
I also have a special FTE promo that gives forum members $20 off orders of 199 or more to knock down the price some more. Just drop the code FTEDEAL in the shopping cart for the deal.
I have a 2006 V10 six speed that we use primarily for towing our 8000# 5th wheeler...
I love the truck, but I just can't leave things alone...I would like a different (throaty) exhaust, without a lot of noise...I think the Gibson might be the right one...
I have had Flowmaster and Magnaflow before, and both were too loud, and the drone of the flowmaster is crazy....I had both the 40 and 50 series over the years....
I had a Gibson single exhaust on a 2000 F150 with a 4.6, and it was perfect in term so noise, rumble and no droaning.
The biggest issue with the flowmaster was lack of low end torque....can't have this pulling a 5er...
Gibson ADVERTISES that their system give MORE low end torque at 1800 rpm...that's great but what about at 700 rpm when I am pulling the 5er from a dead stop....anyone help??? THanks
I put the SS on my 2006 V10...in two weeks it came back off....terrible sound (ricer), decreased mpg, lost low end torque, etc. Worst experience of my towing career....I towed the 5er 30 miles and parked the whole rig....went to a muffler shop and had it ripped off and had the original put back on...
I am back in business now...the Ford engineers did a far better design job than Gibson...for sure!!!!
I wrote Gibson a long email complainting about their total misrepresentation of their exhaust system for the V10...guess what...NO RESPONSE!!!
