ok i hooked the ground to a screw that had a few ground wires going to it and i pushed it into the dark green wire and the test light didnt light up so im guessing its bad?
If the darkgreen is dead, that means you have a power problem. If you look at the diagram in the link, the darkgreen leads directly to the fuse box and a 30 amp fuse for the wiper motor system. It says it's fuse #2.
ok well the motor should be in ,in a day or two i hope this fixes it no parts stores carry them at all for some odd reason so i had to order it.so thats where im starting.
Ok I started the truck up and turned the switch like i was turning on the wipers if they worked and then tested the green wire and the red light went on,on my test light.does this mean my motor is good?AM i suppose to test it with the engine running or no?.let me know thanks.

When you turn the key to run or accessory position, the testlight should light up when testing the darkgreen wire. Sounds like you have power. This does not mean the motor is good.
Take a wire and hook one end to the battery +, and hook the other end to the white wire going into the motor. See if the motor will run.
