Thanks i am having fun with my truck i just rolled 111,000 miles one question about both our trucks. You know after a wile the front suspension makes noises i am thinking of rebuilding the front suspension with polyurethane bushings to tighting it up under there.

i got mine off ebay for $448.00 the body shop sent them off to get restored.
now its time to give the (302) some more power!!!!

I have replaced just about every bushing on my truck with energy suspension or prothane poly. It has made a dramatic improvement. Mine creaks sometimes when I pull into a parking lot or driveway. I think it is either the crushed body mounts or the tranny crossmember. I have retightened that 2-3 times over the years. It is a common issue.
As for more power, I am interested in doing the same thing.
