Add adjustable pedals?
When I purchased my truck I looked all over the area for a truck that had everything I was looking for. I found that the only dealer that had the exact truck had dealer traded it just hours before.
So I had to get my truck without the adjustable pedals. I know that ford will sometimes make their trucks so they have all the wiring etc for an option.
I was wondering if anyone has tried to replace their 'fixed' pedals with adjustable pedals?
It might be a little pain to change them out, but anything is possible.

I have been wondering the same thing, but I haven't looked into it yet. It took me 3 months to get my seat (power seat) positioned relative to the steering wheel where I like it. The problem is that now I think the pedals are too close. If they were an inch further from me they would be perfect.

I know it can be done, because I almost bought a truck that didn't have the option, but the service manager at the dealer told me he could do it. No money talked about.
I got lucky and found another truck (with another seller) that even had a few more options with power adjustable pedals, for a better deal.
I really like this option. Especially since my wife drives the truck now and again, and she has short legs!

Wow, i was just thinking about this topic today and was going to post the question. Its getting hard to find what you want with the incentives going on, and the trucks available either dont have the Rear Power window or the PowerPedals.
Polar you got any input on this? Can you do it, and how much?

So I did some diging on my truck this afternoon. I took the lower dash apart and as I suspected the harness for the pedal switch is there so I think if I buy the switch and the motorized pedal assembly (once I find the part numbers and depending on the price) then I could swap the pedals and then I would be in business!
This is all just a hunch at this point.

The way to add both is to go buy a truck with it. You are not adding dual climate control without a small fortune.
