adjustable pedals

We were looking at '14 Edge ths past weekend and was surprised and disapointed is find out that they do not have adjustable pedals, Our Taurus and 500 both have adjustable pedals and that is a feature that my wife has come to love.

Good observation. My wife could make use of that feature but it seems that Ford is expanding its use. You don't want to get too close to that air bag.

Exactly, shorter people are in a dangerous place with the seat having to be so far forward. The Explorer has them, but my wife was really wanting something a bit smaller and the Edge really caught her eye.

The Edge is a sweet ride, I am surprised how much I like ours but my wife (5' 4") prefers her '09 Escape simply because it has better visibility for knowing where the car begins and ends. When she was in an accident with her '02 Escape the airbag deployed (saved her life!) but her face took a pretty good blow.
