Need help identifying an engine

I have a '64 F-700 and need help IDing the engine. It is an FE big block V8. I am assuming it would be a 361 or 391 but the guy I bought it from thought it was a 360. How can I tell between the 360 and the HD engines? Thanks.

The FT engines are significantly heavier and beefier. The best indicator, as I've been told, without disassembling the engine, is the snout of the crankshaft. If you can compare it visually to a standard FE engine, you'll notice the FT (361/391) snout is much thicker.
Check the FE forum out, they can probably help you out with better ideas. I am familiar enough with standard FEs that I can tell the difference, but I don't know the measurements.
Good luck.
