I've got a 1997 Ford F-350, the truck is running extremely rough and has absolutly no power, the truck makes a lot of bad clattering and bad noises. But it only happens intemintantly. If you let off the the throttle and get back in it, the truck runs fine for a few miles or a few seconds.
We have replaced the cam sensor twice, replace the ECM, tried a buddies IDM, and run codes several times.
The code that we have gotten is:
p0344 - (i think intermintent cam signal)
Is it possible that we have had two bad sensors?
What else could it be?
I have same issue with a1997 F250HD., Will run fine then start bucking like a horse, then run fine again for a bit. This just started happening last night and today when taking it out,
I have a standard trans mission and about 147,000 miles. Low miles for a 97. Most miles put on it have been pulling 5th wheel.
Have not looked at it yet and looking for idea's on what to check.
Thanks
