I have a '63 F100 4X4. I need the emblems from the sides and front of the hood. Not doing the new if I can avoid it (out of site on the price). Not restoring, just want to fill the holes with the right items. Sides (has three mount holes)should be the Ford, Four Wheel Drive, 100 wording and the front should be the V8 emblem. If I am wrong on these types, let me know. Got the info from a catalog. If you have some to part with, let's talk.

I just happen tohave the emblem that gose on th fornt of the hood. There are to diffrent emblems for the fornt. The one you are asking about is correct and the other one has a lighting bolt through a gear on it. This is the one I have on my 1963 As for the side emblems I Know of a set but the wrighting is fade on them.

Pete, the 1963 F100 4x4 side emblems were the same as the 4x2 emblems. They are silver with Ford on top and 100 written in white against a red background on the plastic insert. The hood emblem for all 1961 to 1964 trucks is the gear and lightning bolt. The V8 hood emblem was only available on 1965 and 1966 V8 trucks. I've got an extra gear and lightning bolt hood emblem, but no side emblems. Contact me at pkc2811@***.net.

 

Ok, from my research and the info here, I was wrong on the hood side emblems. Only the '66 had the Four Wheel Drive, mine had the Ford 100 side emblems. Not a problem as I can use either because the truck is 4X4 and I am not restoring.....just driving. Now on the hood front emblem, I still think it is the large V8 with the little stars or some design above it. The gear and lightning bolt does not fit the hood indentation and the things I read about it indicate it is from 53 - 56, not the 60's. Although, there must be a hood emblem for the six cyl. trucks. If there is a gear and lightning bolt for the 60's time, I have missed seeing it. Those that have the ones I need, send info to my email, pcm@eaznet.com Thanks.

The red F-100 inserts are yellowed and unreadable but the chrome is decent. Its still on the old truck.You can reimburse me for shipping if you feel so inclined. Now this is the way things should work. Lots of info and plenty of help with the little things. Thanks to all and I am working thru e-mail on a couple of deals. I have now seen the gear and lightning bolt so I know they exist. Just got to locate a few more parts houses now and things will be great.
