Center Council Lid

I have a 1999 explorer, and the lid to the center council is broken at the hinged part I know this is a commen problem but istead of buying a new one or (can't find one for a autowreaker) what other solution do I have that you have all tried...

Yeah but your not gonna find a center council, because its a called a center console.

just helping out.

i have super glued mine twice,and for the added trick i have a hockey puck,that happens to fit in the front and sits right in the slot for the compartment underneath.just a little NHL touch to my 98 sport.
