Need help locating a clothes dryer
Folks, This is a long shot I know, but with you all living in different states and all I thought it might just pan out:
I need to find a Whirlpool dryer Model#LEQ9557KT, it has "just" been discontinued by Whirlpool, and they don't seem to want to help me find the "mate" to my washer that we bought a year and a half ago.
My Wife and I would really appreciate it if someone could help locate one for us, and as close to Florida as possible.
Any appliance dealer that carries in stock Whirlpool products may just have one in stock, if you find one, please let me know, I'll gladly pay you a $50.00 finders fee, and I'll handle the shipping arrangements.
I know there is great power in the FTE, so please take a look for me.

I don't know if this helps, BUT-
Charlotte Appliance in Rochester, NY has 2, LEQ9558KT- one on display, one in a box. That's off by 1 digit. He told me the color is bisque or bisquit(?). It's $379. Call 585-663-5050 and ask for Tom. I know it ain't anywhere near Florida, but Charlotte's a great store (family-owned since the beginning of time), and I'm sure they'll help you getting it to FL. If it works, keep the $50 for Christmas. No self-respecting FTE'r would take 50 bucks for 2 minutes work. Happy Holidays!

Man, I can find Ford parts around here, but not that dryer! Most places don't know the model numbers of what they are selling anyways, or have their own numbers they assign to them. Is there a name for this model, or a series, or anything else like that?

If they don't have it they will chk other stores for you !
Kind of streching it for a model thats 11/2 yrs old though but maybe !

Hi, My Wife is a Tech. at Whirlpool World Headquarters In Beton Harber, MI. She has a copy of your post and will bring it to work with her on Monday and see if she can get someone there to locate one for you in your area. Feel free to E-Mail me and I will keep you updated.

I just spoke with my wife and she started the ball rolling today at work.
She will be in the building tomorrow where washers and dryers are handeled. This should get some good results. From what she found out today there should be a new model number that has the same looks but with some new features or upgrades.
I think we have something going here.
