it balances the oil pressure in the two oil rails in the cylinder heads. since there is only one Injection Control Pressure sensor, that is in the left head, it only reads the pressure from the driver's side bank, and it then sends pressure readings that in turn regulate oil pressure to both heads. using this part connects the oil galleries together, so it reads an accurate pressure from both heads. oil doesnt flow through the tube, so much as it acts as a "shock absorber" (PSNut) for the cylinder heads.
