That sounds like a casing number. Any other numbers on the carb itself? for instance my carb has a caseing number for each section. Top / middle / bottom.
I was hoping the carb still had the part number tag on it. IE: (E1TE GC) or (D5TE DA) something simular to those examples.
Mil1ion may be able to do something with the 7022 number though.
i reverted the engine bacwards when i got rid of the eec and the emmisions this is the year im looking at for all my stuff, thx ya'll auto matic, 49 state with NO emmisions
so you were saying earlier about the carb thermostat...the wire comes from the alternator to the connector? Ive been looking for this information since I found out my truck had electric choke...
btw, if it had electric choke, does it have to have it? The previous owner i guess lost the cap or just took it off. The gadget on the inside was broke so he put a zip-tie and a screw on there. The gate was wide open...I borrowed the cap off my dads 78 bronco and the gadget off another carb just like mine.
(i guess it would be easier to have the electric choke back on there...i dont know how to adjust the fuel mixture.)
