How many miles can I expect to get out of my plugs and COP's? I still have the original ones in my 00 EB and have just rounded 130K. This last weekend I started to notice a very intermitant miss in the engine with a slight drop in the tach when sitting at idle. It's not a fuel filter issue because I replaced it about 3 weeks ago, and the fuel pump sounds strong. Does this sound like a COP problem? If so, how much should I expect to pay to have them changed? Should this be left only to the stealership, or can my local mech shop do the job without problems (I dred the plug blowout if I do it myself).

I'm pushing 115K on my originals and (knock on wood) my truck runs as good or better than ever. You can buy Coils for around $40 and replace yourself, but since there are 8 it might not be feasible to do all of them. If I were you I'd start with plugs first as they are more likely than not in need of replacement.
i changed mine at 75000 the plug gaps were just starting to get out of limits. i would change plugs first before the cops at 130 you are overdue for plugs. the average person can change plugs in these vehicles just give yourself time its not that bad of a job change one plug at a time and work your way around. if you feel it it is beyond your means a local shop would be able to do it or the dealership witout problems
