A friends 94 Mazda B4000 4.0 V-6 has a KOEO stored code of 186, injector pulse width higher than expected (w/baro sensor). I'm not real familiar with injection and was wondering if anyone can tell me what would cause this code, and what to look for to fix it.
It also has a KOER code of 411, unable to maintain low idle during test. I'm thinking this may be tied to the injector pulse.
Any help will be appreciated
Also, check the fuel system thoroughly, making sure that the fuel pressure is within specs and that the fuel injectors are firing. Check that the fuel pressure regulator isn't leaking (check for fuel in the vacuum line).
Fuel pressure that is not within specs can often be caused by a clogged fuel filter or a bad pump.
Also, ignore any KOER and/or CM codes until you have corrected all KOEO codes. After correcting that KOEO code, clear all codes, drive a few miles, then check for any KOER/CM codes.
