Gear question for y'all

I am rebuilding the stock axles on my 94 F-150. I'm putting a Lock Rite in the rear, and a Power Lock in the front. I will be running 33's, but I know I can fit 35's. Heres the thing. If I go with a 3.73, then I can get a 3.73 R&P set for both front and rear. Thats fine if I stick w/33's but if I decide to go to 34 or 35" tires, I'll need lower gears. If I go with a 4._ _ all I can seem to find on JBG (and Randy's) is a 4.09 for the D44TTB, and a 4.11 for the rear. Randy's actually has 4.09 for the front, and a 4.10 for the rear, but they don't have the differentials that I want. JBG has the diffs that I want at a good price. If I order everything from them then I won't have to pay out the wazoo for shipping.
Here's the question; is 4.09 front/4.11 rear too big of a jump? I don't use my 4WD unless I'm muddin or driving on really loose/slick terrain (fresh gravel, sand, snow/ice, mud, etc). I think I will be okay, but would like some of y'alls opinions. I feel sorta stupid asking this, because I know they usually do a .01 ratio difference from the factory, but...

no those gear ratios are compatable infact some factory installed gear sets were off by even more than that, I have seen 3.50/3.54 combo's and it was actually fairly common to see 4.09/4.11.

there is more of a difference when running different tire pressures than there is with .02" of difference in the gear set.

you'll be fine, not to mention the only time you need to be in 4x4 is on somewhat soft surface so there should be plenty of slip

A slightly higher gear in the front like that actually will help you steer, the fronts will go a tad bit faster and help pull the rig in the direction of the tires.

I am running 4.09s in the front and 4.10s in the rear in my 84 F150 with 33s, it works fine... no binding at all. I am also running a Trac Lok in the front and and a Powertrax No-Slip in the rear, I love it... goes anywhere off road!

I am running the same setup in my Bronco with 35" tires and it is pretty nice. Raod manners are not to bad and very nice offroad. I was thinking about 3.73 vs the 4.11 and now I almost wish I would have went 4.56 ...... I don't drive over 60mph so the the 4.56 would still work for me, but At 75 the rpms would probably be a little to high.

Like previously mentioned, the .02-.03 difference is ok.
Your I6 is torqy enough to push 35s with 3.73, but what is the gear ratio of your first tranny gear, and what type of driveing do you do with this thing?
Interstate, in town, mixed, off road?

FordPickup460, although I was previously aware of that, thank you for bringing it up for others who may not have,

Pkupman82, That is exactly what I was hoping somebody would say... Thanks for testing the waters for me

MBBFord, I drive about 500 miles a week, 460 of those miles being interstate at 65-75mph, the other 40 of those miles at 55 or under. We have 5 or 6 mud bogs, and 3 or 4 trails here and there, and I hit those on the weekends.

78ihs2 Is that with a 4 speed or 5 speed tranny? If 4 speed, are you talking a 1:1 ratio in 4th gear?

For that many hwy and interstate miles, 3.73 would be ok for the 33s, and good for the 35s when it comes to low RPMs. You won't have the best acceleration with 3.73s and 35s, but the low rpms should over compensate the fuel used to exelerate w/ that many miles.
IF you can get or have a overdrive, then go with 4.10s.

I got the 4.09/4.11 gear setup in my F-250. I use it mostly in the mud and in the snow in the winter. I haven't had a problem(and I'm not exactle nice to my truck). You'll be fine.
