I have a list of Diesel shops in one of my Diesel magazines, I'll do some digging and see if you have one in your area, when i find it i will let you know.

I have heard (do not quote me on this) that the next best place to the stealership for commercial work is sears. Apparently, they keep at least one diesel specialist on duty.
How would i go about to find a good diesel shop in my area?
My suggestion would be to stop by some of the local shops in your area..whether they are diesel shops or not, and ask them who the best diesel mech in town is. They will know who the best diesel mech's are. Coming from a family of mechanics, I know that many times these guys sort of have their own little communities. They all know eachother, who specializes in what, and refer eachother for work in certain situations. It might also be the case that some mechanics only specialize in certain types of diesels...for example, my uncle is a certified cummins mechanic. While he knows how my truck works, would not be as good as a mechanic who has vast experience with the Powerstroke.
If you know of a reputable shop in your town somewhere, I would go ask them!
