Does anybody know the official name of the 1967 ford truck color close to aqua? See Thom B's webpage for literature, its the color of the 4 wd F250. I am planning to restore one just like this.
I think that that the color you are looking for is Frost Turquoise. It's Exterior Color Code B. The Ditzler PPG code is 12876. I do have the 1967 Color Chips on my page under the VIN codes. Click on the "Paint Chip" link near the exterior color code section. I don't think the scan does justice to the chips so I compared the actual chip to the brochure you mention and I'd say Frost Turquiose it is. I hope this helps.

Another option might be "Lunar Green". Actually is pretty close to an "aqua" look. Respraying my truck and had an automotive paint shop match some 1967 Ford "Lunar Green". Looks pretty aqua-ish to me. When its all done I can send over some photos.
Did'ja happen to notice that Stock man's last post was typed over 15 years ago on 8/05/1999?
Wow! Didn't even realize this forum has been around for 15 years! Was looking up Ford truck colors when I saw this come up. Figured it was just a normal post just as all the others.
