What is the name of the light turquoise/light blueish color on 67's?

I think it is frost turquoise (lt aqua). Code B It really looks close to lunargreen (code U) when both paints are oxidized. I have both colored trucks.

I have the original FoMoCo color chip chart for 1967.

The chips are glued to the chart, not printed on it. So..what you see is what you get.

There are two names for paint colors: Promotional & Actual.

Warranty Plate COLOR code / Promotional Name // Actual Name / Ford basic part number:

B = Frost Turquoise or Palomar Blue // Light Aqua / 1734 / Shorty 66: From your description, and by the color chip in the chart, this is the color you want.

U = Lunar Green or Tahoe Turquoise // Medium Green / 2097

This is a darker shade of green.

NOTE: 1961/66: Color code B = Caribbean Turquoise: This is not the same color as Frost Turquoise.

Frost Turquoise was used 1967/69.
