Best bet is to go to an auto parts store and ask...do you have a single, dual or triple core radiator? Certain areas in the US (like Arizona) have cars and trucks with heavy duty or high capacity radiators, usually the people in the auto parts stores in the area will be aware and take this into account.
Just did my auto and air 93 302 takes 14 quarts. If you don't drain using the drain plug on the lower block, start filling with antifreeze first I was only able to get about 6 quarts in. There must of been 8 quarts of well water/ distilled water in the block.
14 gallons, good grief thats alot of fluid to buy.....i just did my 300-6 yesterday and 3 gallons so far, it may take another half a gallon before all the air bubbles get out...14 gallons would cost like 150 bucks....
He meant to say 14 quarts, i say that all the time to. 2 gallons antifreeze and 3 gallons distilled water should do it. Back flush the town water thats left in the block, with some distilled before filling.
