Reason: mistake
I found the code.Bad ground or broken wire to RH sensor..Anyway,does anyone know where this sensor is located or know of any common areas to look for a problem? Thanks again for any help.Dan
Welcome to FTE and the Big Bronco Forum. We will endeavor to get you the most accurate info. we can muster.
Code 41... on which system? By 94 the EEC system was spitting out three-digit codes for the most part. Are we talking ABS codes? If so, the RH stands for right-hand which would be the sensor at the passenger side front wheel.
EEC code 41 is a dead (or at least a dying) O2 sensor in most cases.
I plugged Right hand sensor into the left side and got code 41.When I unplugged both sensors I got a steady blinking airbag light. If I have right side plugged in and left side unplugged,I get code 41.Does this make sense? Shouldn't I get a 42? Do any of the manuals have the diagnostics for this? ANY help is appreciated. Thanks, Dan
Not if both sensors are working and the problem is in the wiring to the right hand sensor. By virtue of the process of elimiation you have been through, thats what I would think is the root of the problem. Forgot about the airbags on the later models... my newest is a 93 so no airbags to contend with.
