Talking Oil pressure

Hey! I got a 351m. When i start it, the oil pressure is about 75, but after a little running it drops to 25. Is this a good pressure? If it gets lower than 25 what might be wrong? Thanks!

As oil heats up it gets thinner. When it thins some of the oil leaks past the bearings and the pressure at the gauge drops. 25 lbs pressure at idle when hot is GOOD pressure. Are these numbers oil pressure at idle or when running on the highway?

Bad oil pressure is when your valves tap at idle when the engine is hot.

When hot and cruising down the road, my oil pressure is around 50-55 psi and sits around 25-30 at idle. Your pressure sounds fine to me
