Ok i am talking to some guys on myspace about rangers i have heard overseas
ford builds "Super Crew Rangers". I found some picks on "Google" Any body know about this.
I saw one here in Korea, but I think it was Imported over from the UK or Germany...It had some "older" looking stickers on the windsheild but I couldn't make out what was on them.
It looked like the newer body style. It also had some tapered-in/deep dish five star rims. It looked "similar" to the ones I had on my '99 XLT with the polished inserts. This however didn't look like an insert.
It also sounded like a Diesel.... or that may have been the Hyundai truck behind me in the toll both line....I dunno...
I'll try to snag a picture of it the next time (If) I see it.
Thailand just got a new model. Mexico has one, Brazil as well. Most other countries have them to my knowledge. They come with gas motors as well as a 2.8 liter Powerstroke 4 cyl. turbo diesel. Our version of the crew cab ranger theoretically is the Sport trac...You can also cruise around the other out of the US websites

Reason: forgot
Those are nifty. why wouldn't they sell them in the us, i'm sure they'ld be a hit. i dont like the suicide door on now, my modle only is 2 door, which is worse.
It's been talked about before, seems the only reason they don't offer it here is they offer the Sport Trac which isn't available in all the places with the CC Ranger.
We know obviously why they don't offer the diesel, would never pass emissions here.
I'd buy it. If they don't start selling it, my next truck will be a Colorado.
Dont read into this too far. i didnt get one of these, but if they were for sale in america, i would be talking about getting one, i'ld be on my way to the dealer in my 300 to trade in/up.

oops... to be
Thas' also One of the Many reasons why Hyundai and Kia hasn't started throwing thier LCF pick-ups over to the states (Diesel High-ppm counts of sulfur, etc)
But SK is starting to get thier crap-exhaust under some sort of control. It will only be a matter of time till they toy with the idea... Or they ask "me" to help build a machine to build that efficient injector, brakes or steering...and whatever else...
Xplains why my Spanish "customers" want to come to America to buy thier new cars... But they also use the Euro.....lets figure that one.. 31317.8115Euros using GCI...

For somewhere in the vicinity of $40K, I find it very hard to believe that it would be popular here in the US. For that kind of cash, you could get a Blackwood and have a lot more flash going down the road.
