Question tranny slams 2nd gear

hey guys can any of you tell me how to keep my trans from slamming the the !@%@ out of 2nd gear on hard acceleration. it is really bad I actually heard the rear wheels chirp today and it sounded like I hit the driveshaft with a hammer when it shifted. Is this normal for a lightly juiced truck, or has my new Jasper trans crapped out on me. any info is greatly needed and wanted, thanks guys.

i made mine do that w/ an factory tech valve body. i love how it bangs the gears.

it'll make your tranny last longer. harder shifts mean less slippage and less slippage mean less heat.

i can chirp the tires into 3rd if i floor it.

i would think it is a problem. real quick shifts are good but i dont think a bang like a hammer is good

Welcome MAKO314, glad to see someone here from my backyard. I don't think it should slam that hard.
