Anyone know if the PI TC has a drain plug? I know I shoulda looked before the install but I was in such a hurry to get it installed and driven I forgot to look. Of course, I dream up these questions to ask only on the weekends where nobody is advailable to answer them so I have to ask the board. TIA
If you don't mind changing the fluid again anyway, This is easy to do, I've done many. Locate your spot through the flex plate and center punch it. Put a big drain pan down and drill a 5/16" hole in the converter. All filings will be pushed out and if your fast you won't have the oil in your arm pit. Thread the hole with a 1/4"NTP tap, install a plug and your done. I know it's a commitment issue to drill holes in your truck.
The PI TC does not have a drain plug. I don't remember Terry's theory on not having one, but he does have a reason. I'm sure you could email him or call him and he'd fill you in.
