This forums been boring lately, I figure this will lighten this up a bit. Looks like Ford and Honda have the highest number of cars listed.

Kind of curious what brought about a lemon-law buyback? Someone who bought a new Honda is probably less tolerant of any defects than someone who bought, say, a Kia.
The one thing that worries me most is that NONE of the Ford models listed are actually new designs. I can understand (don't like, but accept) that a new car will have problems, but the Windstar, Cougar, and Excursion have been around for a while, one would think that Ford would have learned how to make them right.

This list was complaints to the government, not buy-backs. Having said that, the only lemon law buyback (under California law) that I ever personally knew about was a Ford SuperDuty 4x4 V-10 automatic. The transfer case self-destructed three times within the first three months and about 1800 miles. He was towing, but way under GCWR (ski boat).

IMO there are alot of variables that may not be taken into consideration-
How many complaints may have been resolved at the dealership level?
How many consumers never pushed their complaints to the point of being documented?
How many complaints were unfounded?
These numbers may be pretty close to real life, but numbers can be manipulated in many ways also. I take it with a grain of salt.
