i have really been toying with this idea in my head the past couple of weeks. i really miss my horn and would like to put a system back together since i traded OBA for an IC.
have you gotten anywhere with this?
how do you know the size motor to get? (match GPM's? max pressures? ect)
No, because I am still driving the Bronco II and haven't found a full sized <- 1983 4x4 Bronco yet WITH a title that was driveable for cheap money. There is no room for the pump unless I put it under the body. I was going to do this in my 4x4 van (behind the 3rd row seat) until someone dropped a tree on it and I had to sell it.

If I do it I will post pictures for sure.
Too bad yo udidn't live up near VA, I have a late 80's Bronco I want to unload that lived a life as a state truck, so it is a no frills truck. I got it from my uncle to use as a mud truck project, but have gone another direction. All the truck needs is a rear axle as the 8.8 had some bearing problems and messed up the housing. I also have a Sterling 10.25 that would go nice in the truck. but then you would need to swap in a D60 up front so everything matched......
