some food for thought, you can use a slider out of a newer truck, up to a 96. Might be easier to find one that way. My 73 has a late model back window in it, my glass guy says it fits better in the rubber gasket than the OE one did..

I have a rear slider I pulled out of a '77. You can have it if you want to come get it!

A back window frame with a black finish is easy to find. But a window with the original silver/aluminum finish has been next to impossible to find. At least for me. If anyone knows, please advise.
Thanks,
John

I have the silver-looking finish on mine but I assumed it was aftermarket because it has "PassPort" engraved on the latch. I've considered replacing it with a newer one even though it's in good shape.

Mil1ion--do you know how much the electric slider is new? I didn't see a price on the crlawrence web site.

The one I have is the silver finish. I think it's OE.

Just under $500.00 usd about $480.00 IIRC.

I'll see if I can find it for you.

I got mine for cheap at a local swap meet in May.
