Parts score

Came across a bunch of old Ford trucks Sunday. A pair of 53/55 F100`s, a 56 F100 and a 56 M100. Some are quite ruff but the 56`s have fairly good cabs and decent fenders/tailgates. Now if only I had the time to buy and bring them home.

An update on this, lockups and I bought these trucks and finally got them home over the last two Sundays. The 56 Ford has a great cab, better than on lockups truck so he will use it and the 56 M100 could make a great start for someone some day......The 54 M100 is quite ruff and incomplete but has decent doors along with some other parts and the 55 isn`t too great, some useable parts maybe.
There was also a 71 F100 in poor/incomplete condition but in the deal we had to clean up the site. A few remaining cars will go to the chrusher.

Glad to hear that you got 'em. YOu really need more trucks at your place Fom.
Great snag though. Parts trucks are getting hard to find. Good ones anyway.

Any of the cars demolition derby worthy? Or if there is a old Falcon, I can be a "crusher".

Hey Fomoko, is the 56 M100 up for sale? I think dad has a couple 53's lined up to work on, but he might be interested in a 56. He's restoring a 56 Meteor Rideau, it's the car the he and mom had when they got married. A matching 56 pickup might be nice!!

We haven`t had time to check these trucks over, just time to get them home. The 56 M100 might be for sale.
Don`t know if there is a demolition worthy car, the Meteor might run and is complete. Don`t know about the 74? Dodge wagon or the Chev 4 dr.
We found these trucks through word of mouth from a friend of mine who has a 68 4X4 F100 on 78 F100 frame.
Ya, I need more trucks LOL...The farm yard didn`t look too bad till last weekend, now to sort it all out.

wouldn't mind smashin a Chevy, Dodge motors are weak in derbies. I don't think I should do the Meteor, I'd just end up taking out the motor and putting it in a 49 Ford pickup.

The Dodge wgn there is a guy (Dean) at minute muffler on Idylwyld would be interested in the Dodge wgn for demo. That is what he likes to use and has several parts to keep them going (motor, etc) There you may make some cash back on your trucks.

The Red Deer swap meet was good to me.

I scored this for $50.00

http://www.crlawrence.com/ProductPag...9.html?Origin=

and a bolt on condition 78/79 Argent/chrome grille for $10.00.

11 Brand new condition 73-80 Original Ford Truck/Van Brochures for really cheap.

This swap meet really is the premiere event in Western canada.

Good score Mil1ion, $50.00 sounds like a good deal and the same on the grille for $10.00. This swap meet is in one of the busiest times for my business so I can never attend.

I priced out the slider on truckaddons and it comes at $480.00 USD before shipping costs.

I found a new window gasket today out of Calgary.

My friend with a glass business here in Innisfail ordered it at cost + $7.00 for me and he will do the install for $35.00

The deal just seems to get better.

Calgary, Edmonton & Lethbridge are the next largest swap meets.

Maybe try for Edmonton's ?
