Anybody put one of the power sliders offered from CR Laurence for the rear window in their 73 to 79???

I just cant reach the back in my crew cab!

 

Never done it, but I'd be a little leary to. The tracks aren't that great in my old truck. I'd be afraid that it's gonna bind.

 

I'm putting one in shortly.

Just waiting for the special rubber gasket to install it.

Well ,It got installed yesterday.

Aside from trying to get the 100lb overweight guy in the back of the truck to undo the topper hold downs,it went in slick.

Starting with removing topper :
Total time with 3 guys,the correct tools,*Special* New window gasket = 25 minutes start to finish .

Today I might install the electrical.
