Keyless Keypad
Recenlty I purchased a used 2005 Super Duty w/ the keyless keypad on the door but can't seem to find the code anywhere. I've looked on this forum on where to look and had some good ideas but I can't seem to find it. I've look under the dash near the radio blah, blah, blah. Nowhere...... the owners manual says that it is on my computer module. Where is that at??? Under the hood? Behind the dash? And do different style trucks have it hidden in different locations. I ask that because I have the King Ranch package. Thanks in advance for any help.

There is a plastic card, about the size of a credit card, that the dealer should have given to the original buyer. Who ever you bought the truck from should have it. I guess they don't have it, huh? When the manual said the code is on the computer module, I'm not sure they meant it was printed on the outside. I think it's stored inside. Maybe if you take the truck to a dealer, they can read the truck's module info and tell you what the code is.

I think it is on the module for the keyless entry, which is under the dash. Mine is on a white box, with the key code on the side of the module. It is located under the dash on the drivers side. Mine is an '06, so I hope this will help with your '05.
