engine will sputer then die
2000 power stroke will run fine and just shut off, no code like it ran out of fuel. changed fuel filter because i checked most everything else. it will shut down at speed also, and has always restarted sometimes i have to cycle key a few times. any help befor i give in and take it to ford. i never let anyone work on my stuff

yes thought that my be problem but tach works fine when it happens i picked one up for 151 bucks it is easy to change did it for outhers but everyone else that had it happen i read the code and it went bad right away 151 two day pay just like to be sure thanks

Again, Ditto, I suggest changing it soon because one of these times, and probably soon, it want restart. Welcome to the board and let us know if this works or not. When you have a chance fill out you signature so we will know a little more about your truck.
