I was going to check it out today to see how hard it would be if I was on the side of the road to change, and man was it a PITA for my short little arms to get to. I had a heck of a time just getting the socket on, so for those of yall who said it was easy to change......Must be nice!! I will try it again next weekend when I have a day off.....The little hose made it a pain to wiggle around and then there is the issue of the fan..........just my 2 cents worth.......Seems like things I try always turn out bass ackwards
my 99 does the same thing but only when it's warming up. I think it's temp related. If i let it warm up for 5 minutes it's fine, but If I start and go within
1/4 mi. It dies I have to crank it for 30 seconds or so and it will start running
but very rough idle. When it reaches normal temp it's fine. No codes.
Oh that CPS is a little hex I tell you. I snuck in a recent post about how my tach does not move while cranking/starting, and surprisingly heard nothing.
It starts and runs just fine, but that tach does not move at all during startup. Now I thought that was a dead ringer for failing CPS.
