My neighborhood was ok when i moved in , however its slowly going to seed Ive tried for 11 years to be a city dweller. its just not my thing. i neet trees. and not the ones that buckle my sidewalk
I live in the country. I'd say just far enough out. My family has a farm that we rent out to our neighbor to farm for us. No developments going in where I live, but close by, like in the Lone Jack area. 15 minutes drive into Pleasant Hill and 30 minutes to Lee's Summit.
i live in a small town of about 1200 in il, it's cheap living, taxes, utilites and house is payed for. i drive 105 mi rt to st. louis,mo everyday and thought about moving there but i know i wouldn't like living in the big city so i guess i'l keep driving.
Big City, a million and a half people if you don't count the suburbs. The development in this area is insane. I've lived in the city majority of my life with a 5year stint in burbs, did not like burb living. To many people in your business and impersonal at the same time, next move is rural.
I live in a small town of about 6000 people. It is considered part of the metro atlanta area and is about 30 miles east of atlanta. I do live in the city limits but its ok because I can still raise my goats chickens and ducks and noone says anything.
It's five miles to the nearest small town, but there are houses being built all over the place right now, and I'm told we are considered a bedroom community...
Bottom line I guess is that I live in the country but its becoming "Suburbanated".
I live in the city limits of Hephzibah Ga but I'm really out in the country. Its a long story about the consolidation Augusta,Ga and Richmond county and us not wanting to be part of it.
