brake fluid spewage
so my front right brake hose (flexible hose) exploded the other day and i have some questians
I want to lift this truck 6 in. eventually, should I buy good extended stainless hoses now?
if so what brand do you recomend?
I have a d44 now but if I swap a d60 from same vintage (78-79) will the brake lines from the d44 calipers fit on the d60 calipers?
but wait, there's more, the bleeder bolt broke off inside one of my calipers, is there any way to get this out?
so I just rebuilt my rear brakes and I go out to test them when the front line spews, I really do love old trucks

Either that or make your own extended lines from the NAPA hydraulic catalog like I did.

Yes, just do a search. I and others have posted about the various techniques to do it. Though if it has broken off below the surface, the only way is to carefully hollow out the bleeder and try to pry the remaining "skin" out with a needle nose.
