I don't mean to spam the forum, but I just got a driveshaft from Mountain Driveline for $185 including shipping. The quality and workmanship are great and I was compelled to let the forum members know how good it is in case they were in the market for a replacement. The driveshaft I got was for a full sized Bronco that was fitted with the B2 flanges. Talk to the owner Dick for that price. All too often the workmanship nowadays is poor and when a place comes along that offers this kind of quality I think it deserves mention. I have a new B2 !!!!
From the looks of the info / pics on their site, it's not a double-cardan c-v u-joint style shaft. I guess that's okay if you don't plan on lifting it very high or can set your pinion angle to where you'll never bind the u-joints that much. I guess for their design and all they are much better than the cr*p Ford puts on from the factory, though
Somehow I knew the 84/85 shafts were interchangeable. That makes that part of my buildup plan a LOT easier. I'm debating on using a lift kit, or pieces and parts, both prefabricated and self-fabricated to acheive the end result. I may be able to save money in the long run -not- buying a kit, especially if I end up doing the SAS. Anyhow, enough of my spam in this thread :P Thanks for the info, rebocardo, I was going to search the forums and/or ask if they were interchangeable
I just want you to know that I am glad you posted this. I've been asking around the forum for driveshafts and gotten some good answers but I ended up resorting to local shopping and I've gotten quotes 400$ up to 500$ for a double cardan. Bogus! I will definitely be calling Mountain Drivelines for one. Thanks SO much!!!

You can get a double-cardan replacement for the 84-85s that fit others for around $200-300 through Advanced Auto Parts (partsamerica.com) and others. Sometimes you can find a better deal locally or elsewhere online, though. I'm going to check out Mountain Driveline myself and see if the particular one I want is the same price as eisle posted, if so, I'm all over it. Not many junkyard parts available for swappage anymore, that I've found.... d'OH
EDIT: Ah, I remember looking and they are single u-joints at each end. I'll have to call them and see if they have a double-cardan version in the length I need and if it's going to be cheaper than others I can get.

I had the CV end removed and the end piece replaced at a local welding shop in Baton Rouge for $100 bucks. It's been more than worth it's weight in gold.
