As most of the regulars here know, I'm getting my '91 Star ready for paint. Just lacks the rear bumper before it goes. I do want to change the front end appearance a little and I've been toying with the idea of a new grille. My idea is to take the extra grill from my parts van and remove all the grey plastic stuff and just keep the chrome colored part. To this I want to attach my "custom grill material" and then stick a nice size FORD oval in the middle.
What I can't seem to find is a mesh material. I don't want it pre-cut, I want to be able to buy a piece say 12" by 38" and then shape and cut it myself. The type of material I am looking for is used on one of the Chrysler 300 series cars. It is an interwoven wire. Can anyone tell me where I can get something like that?
